Nevera: a name with provenance
The name given to a quick, sudden and mighty Mediterranean storm, that races across the open sea off Croatia, a Nevera is extremely powerful and charged by lightning.
Striking with exceptional speed and severity, our new generation of hypercar proudly carries the name but also the characteristics of this unique meteorological force of nature.
Design
Defined by purpose and performance, Nevera’s bold but functional form is entirely original yet unmistakably Rimac. Founded on the philosophy that form follows function, Nevera shuns excess for lean engineering, letting the performance figures speak for themselves. Sporting Rimac’s signature ‘necktie’ design, sculpted into the flanks, the Croatian symbol is not only a visual design cue but a key component of the Nevera’s aerodynamic profile. Shaped by airflow, Nevera’s form is dictated by high-performance function.
Interior
Designed for both sport and comfort, Nevera’s minimalist cockpit is clearly divided into two zones. The top is optimized entirely for driving pleasure and performance, while the lower half houses the infotainment system, comfort controls, and driving data.
Spacious cockpit
With space for two occupants in full race regalia and their luggage, Nevera is as much a capable grand tourer as it is a performance hypercar. Digital screens soak up needless toggles and switches, leaving only essential tactile controls, giving more space to enjoy Nevera’s meticulously designed interior.
Clean and clear
Sporting a mix of tactile buttons and digital screens, two crafted dials sit in the center of Nevera’s interior, integrating the air vents while providing a way to calibrate the car.
Carbon fiber monocoque
Sporting the largest single carbonfibre piece in the industry, much of Nevera’s structural stiffness comes from its carbonfibre monocoque core.
Encasing the car’s battery to form a compact yet solid structure, Nevera is exceptionally strong and safe, meeting strict global homologation standards and delivering the most rigid structure of any car ever made.
Structural battery pack
The T-shaped structural battery pack of the Nevera consists of 6,960 cells and has a capacity of 120 kWh. This integrated battery pack enhances the car’s stiffness manyfold, the Nevera has a torsional stiffness of 70,000 Nm/Deg, “making it the stiffest structure of any car ever made,” Mate Rimac said.
